2014 Highlights so far...
We had the pleasure and opportunity to open for Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion at The Sunset Tavern in Seattle. It was a particularly memorable night because Pete Seeger died that same week, and of course, the Guthrie family was extremely close to Pete Seeger. Tribute songs were played. The american music legacy was felt. We felt honored to share the stage with them!
News!!! Many New Members Join The Remedy Band!
Ethan J Perry & The Remedy Band is a Seattle based Indie Psychedelic Americana band. Their music has been described as, “riding a horse through a desert in space.” And Rachael Perrell of the Levee Breaking writes of the music, “ It’s honest… It’s the super long drive home to visit, remembering the dog you grew up with, and maybe even quietly missing a long put out relationship.”
Currently, Ethan J Perry & The Remedy Band is comprised of Michael Almodovar on drums, Phil Earl on electric mandolin and vocals, Alex Fermanis on pedal steel and vocals, and Doo Crowder on bass and vocals. Ethan heads the band up on guitar and vocals. The Remedy Band also has various musicians of many styles sit in with them when they perform both at shows and in the studio.
Ethan J Perry has released two albums under his name entitled, The Bohemian Bitch & Other Songs From Poets Row, and Night Lights. Ethan released his debut album, Bohemian Bitch, in 2009. He is currently working on his third album entitled, Sundial, due to be released in 2014, with contributions made by members of The Remedy Band, as well as many others.
